This piece was made whilst at Naked state artist residency in Canada. I went to explore what it was like to be totally exposed in a naturist environment for the first time and to become body positive without the medias influence of what the ideal body should look like by manipulating it with shape wear, cometic and surgery.
Here i have come in to nature and realised how we don't need to spend money on feeling good about ourselves we just have to become confident and positive about the body we're in. This visual art piece demonstrates the realisation and then rebelling against the clothing we use to fit the 'ideal body type' to then walk away confident and comfortable with my own body.
